Xin was awarded with the first class Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2014 from the University of Nottingham, during which he has gained a wide range of knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering including fundamental electrical engineering and electronic design, telecommunication, electrical motor and control theories. He then came to the University of Cambridge in the Ultra Precision Manufacturing program, supervised by Prof Bill O'Neil. In this PhD, he went to CAPE in the electrical division under the suvervision of Prof Daping Chu.
