Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision Engineering
Dulce graduated from Tecnologico de Monterrey with a B.Sc in Mechatronics in 2009 and years later finished an M.Sc in Manufacturing Systems at the same institution, in Mexico. Her thesis project involved the development of a control interface for a reconfigurable micro-milling machine to read and process CNC code for the prototyping of medical devices.
Dulce's main area of interest is the manufacturing of medical devices through diverse manufacturing techniques and processes, such as laser/ultra-fast laser and ion beam micromachining, among others.
