Peter originally graduated from Bristol University in 2014 with a first class MEng degree in Civil Engineering, before spending two years working as a Software/R&D Engineer for Autodesk's Advanced Manufacturing Group focussing on Additive Manufacture and 3d Printing. Looking for a new challenge, in 2016 he started at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision, based out of the IfM.
Outside of academia Peter enjoys studying ancient languages, programming, reading and playing squash. He is also an active member of the Maker community, recent projects having revolved around amateur blacksmithing and forging.
