Katherine comes to us from a Physics background, having studied Theoretical Physics at Swansea University and before that undertaking many activities such as completing an extra-curricular GCSE in Astronomy. Following her graduation from university Katherine spent time working for a manufacturer and distributor of measuring instruments, where she developed a keen interest in engineering and manufacturing, eventually deciding to pursue this in a more specialised route with the MRes.
Outside of her studies Katherine like to spend as much time as possible outdoors, particularly enjoying long walks with her dog Finn.
