George studied Manufacturing and Mechanical engineering at Warwick, receiving the IMechE Best Student award when he graduated in 2012.
In 2014, he received an MRes in Ultra Precision Engineering through the EPSRC Center for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision, under the supervision of Professor Bill O'Neill, and is currently studying for a PhD under Professor Tim Wilkinson, continuing a research project from the MRes dissertation.
