2022 EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision Engineering Conference

I am pleased to invite you to the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision Engineering Annual Conference. This year we will be showcasing third year PhD projects from a variety of topics across two of our institutions: University of Cambridge and Cranfield University, along with talks from our Alumni on their career progression since leaving the CDT-UP.
Presentations will focus on how ultra precision engineering is used in fields such as additive manufacturing, laser technology and quantum technologies. The programme will also include a keynote presentation by Paul Shore FRENG, Loxham Precision Ltd entitled 'Why does the future require ultra-precision engineering?'. Presentations will be interspersed with speaker panel sessions which will offer the chance for audience Q&A and open discussion.
