The Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision Engineering course is coordinated by Professor Bill O'Neill of the University of Cambridge and Paul Morantz of Cranfield University.

Both institutions have core staff consisting of programme coordinators and administrators who deal with the day to day running of each MRes course.

The course tutors are based at both Cranfield and Cambridge, along with supervisors located throughout the wider ultra precision community.

MRes and PhD students are located at Cambridge, Cranfield and Nottingham.

The course has its own management and steering committee who meet regularly throughout the year to advice the core staff on recommendations for the course.
