Engineering Diversity: Career Paths in Engineering - The Road Less Travelled. The series of talks given by inspirational engineers, organised by the University of Cambridge Engineering Department, is next hosted by Sakthy Selvakumaran, PhD student and Chartered Civil Engineer on the Forbes 30 under 30 list.

Following the University of Cambridge Engineering Department's successful application for the Athena SWAN Silver Award, the "Women in Engineering" initiative has been renamed "Engineering Diversity" to reflect the expansion of the Athena SWAN Charter, and the Department's aim to promote inclusivity more broadly.

The series of talks given by inspirational engineers will continue and Sakthy Selvakumaran, PhD student and Chartered Civil Engineer on the Forbes 30 under 30 list, will be the next speaker:

Sakthy will reflect on her return to academia from industry, her experiences as an early career engineer, and talk about her views on finding not-so-obvious career opportunities and dealing with barriers in the engineering profession.
