James Ryley

James graduated from Durham University in 2013 with an MSci in Natural Sciences (joint chemistry and physics). He has worked at HP Autonomy in Cambridge as a software testing automation engineer, learning python programming on the job and building up the testing coverage to include accuracy metrics and crash monitoring. He joined the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra Precision in 2015, under the supervision of Professor Bill O'Neill, after deciding he wanted to find out how things are made and how they are going to be made in the future.

James attended the Cambridge MRes in 2015/16, starting her PhD in October 2016 under the supervision of Prof Bill O'Neill and advisor Dr Martin Sparkes .
