How to Apply

How to Apply

We recommend applicants to the course email address for consideration by the course administrator, before applying. Once this has been viewed and they recommend the student applies they must do this via our Graduate Studies office.

Full applications will not be considered until transcripts and both academic references are received.

Applicants are not required to submit a project proposal during the application stage.

There are limited places on the course so we highly recommend those interested apply as soon as possible.

Choosing a College

We are not able to recommend one College in particular but we do recommend students research into what each individual College offers and deter from choosing the most prestigious colleges as they have very few places.

Applications will be sent to applicants' first two college preferences, and then a further three colleges as allocated by the algorithm if necessary. College life provides another platform on which to build a life outside of the Department.

Interviews

Applicants may be interviewed with a number of other students on the same day on which they will attend an introduction talk, panel interview, meet current CDT-UP students over a lunch and tour of the Institute of Manufacturing.

Alternatively, applicants will be interviewed on an individual basis where they will meet the course director and a fellow Centre tutor, have the chance to meet current students and then be given a tour of the Institute.

If required some interviews will take place via Skype.
